Reflecting on a Beautiful Day at Marshview Mercantile in Beaufort, SC

As many of you know, Marshview Mercantile has become a wonderful home for my handmade crochet pieces. Being part of the Mercantile family is a dream—I truly love being surrounded by such a talented local creative community right here in the heart of the Lowcountry.

This past May, I had the absolute joy of stepping out of the studio and into Marshview Mercantile for our Makers Event.  It was such an honor meeting so many of my local Beaufort neighbors.

While you can always find a selection of my work inside the shop, this pop-up gave me the chance to show off items that aren't normally found on the store shelves.

From the Brejoy Collection, I brought a full range of my premium crochet plushies made with the buttery-soft, OEKO-TEX certified yarn you love.  Little Nugget the Gosling quite nearly stole the show with his sweet face, crazy hair and custom adoption certificate! It warmed my heart to see a couple of sweet grandmothers choose Nugget as a special keepsake gift for their granddaughters.

And for the Coastal Veranda Collection,  I was especially excited to debut my hand-crafted coastal napkin rings, they truly are the perfect addition to a Lowcountry table setting.  I so enjoyed making one sweet mother happy with her custom order of shimmered pearl white and gilded napkin rings, paired with clear aqua handmade glass beads and ivory wooden beads!

Whether you were looking for a unique gift or just wanted to chat about crochet and coastal decor, I absolutely loved seeing you there.

Didn't get a change to stop by?

If you missed the event, don't worry!  You can now explore and shop those exact featured collections right here from the comfort of your home.  Thank you all for supporting this Lowcountry artisan journey ~ I am so incredibly grateful for my Beaufort Community!

Warmly,

Brenda
